Walk Back In Time At The Rising Sun Car Show

     American's have always had an affinity for their cars. While today's offerings are might venture into style, they are more about gas mileage, being "green" and technology. In contrast, the kinds of cars you see at most classic car shows that run almost every weekend all over the United States reinforce America's love affair with chrome, steel and muscle. This weekend's car show at the Rising Sun Volunteer Fire Company was no exception.  The parking lot adjacent to the main firehouse was packed with gleaming, polished examples U.S. ingenuity when it came to transportation.

     Sitting behind the wheel of these vehicles provides an instant time transport to the day many of them were made. Some, so comfortable it is liking sitting on your living room sofa,with passenger compartments large enough to have their own zip code and poweful 454 engines just begging to find some open road.
